This is the home of
"Monterrey Coffee Packers, S.A."
The main office is staffed with professionals that are totally
committed to servicing our customers. |
The two spray dry
towers at the main processing plant are capable of producing
over 600 metric tons of bulk spray dried instant coffee every
month. |
 |
 |
The materials
handling section was designed to load or unload twelve trucks
simultaneously. |
| Green coffee stocks
are stored in an environmentally controlled warehouse to
preserve their quality and freshness. |
 |
 |
Prior to roasting,
green coffee stocks are sorted for quality. The coffee beans
pass through an automatic sorter that uses a spectrographic
process to separate the coffee by color and size. |
| Roasted coffee is transported to
the extractors where it is brewed to exact specifications. |
 |
 |
The extractors are all food
grade stainless steel. Optimum sanitary conditions and strict
quality control procedures guarantee that our customers will
receive the best quality products possible. |
|
When the extraction process is completed, the
liquid coffee moves through the spray dry towers to produce
instant coffee powder.
|
 |
 |
Spray dried powders are then
processed into larger granules through an agglomeration process. The
agglomerated particles, or coffee crystals, are usually packed
in glass jars for our food store customers. |
Our modern, state of the art, glass
jar packaging equipment operates in a climate controlled room, under
optimum sanitary condition, to insure that the strictest quality
control standards are met.

Qualified factory trained technicians inspect the production
equipment daily for optimum efficiency and maximum packaging
integrity.

High speed production lines fill and seal over 100 cans per minute.
Roasted coffees are packed in vacuum cans and plastic cans to maintain their natural
aroma and flavor. Instant coffees shipped to emerging markets in
Eastern Europe are packed with the same quality standards that are
mandated for all our U.S.A. and Canada customers.
All products are packed to order for our customers. This assures
maximum levels of quality, and optimum freshness when the products
are delivered. Sophisticated materials handling systems keep the
production lines moving. Inventories of critical materials and
supplies are color coded to minimize production down time caused
from material handling errors. Suppliers of critical materials are
coordinated to deliver our daily production requirement 48 hours in
advance of scheduled production.
Satisfying the needs
of our customers has always been a priority for Monterrey Coffee
Packers.
Our commitment to service has been the key to continuous new sales
growth.
New sales growth requires that we continue to maintain and improve
existing infrastructure.
